What You’ll Do

This position will be a part-time or contractor position. In contributing to our success, the Corporate Attorney will be responsible for ensuring that iBuy is compliant with the law, our contracts and other legal documents are updated accordingly, and advising on details regarding topics such as acquisitions. You will keep an open line of communication with our business units from sales to accounting to logistics to ensure safeguarding against legal risks. By providing incomparable legal counsel you will help drive our continual growth and legal compliance.

Job Responsibilities
  • Analyze company documents to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Review and advise on changes regarding company policies and procedures.
  • Negotiate deals including acquisitions/mergers and attend company meetings.
  • Draft and administer all contracts.
  • Consult with and manage all corporate legal processes including but not limited to intellectual property, lawsuits, patents, and financial/securities offerings.
Job Requirements
  • Proven experience in corporate law (contract law, tax law, accounting, securities law, bankruptcy, intellectual property rights, licensing, zoning laws).
  • BS degree in Law.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
  • Current license to practice law.
